INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS SPECIFIC TO THIS VISA CLASS
Class T10 Itinerant Business Person
A business person who does not reside in Rwanda but has significant business activities in Rwanda and needs to regularly visit and work in the country.
Such a business person may include a company board member who has to attend regular board meetings or an executive of an international company which has branches in Rwanda. The company should have investment certificate from RDB
No dependants allowed. Dependants may apply for tourist visa T1 or T2.
Where Applications can be Made:
*Applications should be made to the the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration offices.
Any genuine acceptable travel document valid not less than 6 months.
- Initial visa- Rwf 50,000
- Visa extension- Rwf 50,000
Validity of Visa:
This Visa is issued for a period at least 2 years up to 10 years and the person issued with this visa can only stay upto 90 days at one time.

Change of Status:
Visa class T10 holder may change his/her status.
Visa may be extended upon application.
*One clear colored passport size photo with white background, recently taken without glasses, caps and scurf; (the photo should be attached to the application form by use of glue stick. Stapling and clipping the photo to the application form is not advisable).

*An application letter addressed to the Director General of Immigration and Emigration.
*Registration certificate of the company or business
*Proof that the person is on the executive board of the company.
*The application must be accompanied by relevant documents showing that the applicant will continue to hold the responsibility during the visa duration.
*A bank slip of 50,000 Rwf paid to RRA; Click the following link to request for payment advice ticket to take to the bank.
To avoid penalties, the applicant should apply/renew visa in time before expiration of current visa. Penalty fee is 20,000frw in a period of 06 to 15 days of the delay. Article 34 of the Ministerial Order establishing procedures and regulations categorizes other penalties from 16 days to 9 months and above.
